The ones marked by death,  with a mask of happiness.  The ones, oblivious,  unaware of present pain.  This is today's world.   
The ones left to fend off death,  without a parent's love.  The ones who call others weak,  unknowing of true fear.  This is today's world.   
The ones who have died,  others grieve for.  The ones who own life,  laughing while death is from behind.  This is today's world.

The angel, she had spoken,  a word of eternity.  The goddess, she had broken,  the angel to her knees.   
The angel, she had begged,  to return to this realm.  The goddess, she had dregged,  her wrath from deepest hell.   
The angel, she had fought,  and won her desire's fight.  The goddess, witnessing what she wrought,  fled into night.   
The angel, she had yearned,  for the goddess' consent.  The goddess, she had learned,  the angels' love was spent.

with a vengeance, for Round 2, as was predicted, per life's instructions... whatever you feel like filling in after the title.

I've got a few poems that swim throughout my head, a good storyline or two, and (not a plot most foul, that's for later! XD) a desktop background my brother, cousin, and I have been collaborating on for the past few weeks.

Be patient, for my genius rarely works full time like it has in recent days... :puke:

I feel better already! :)
